As long as you've done it online I would not worry too much. Just keep printed record and the receipt. I didn't mean to cause worry by saying don't forget to post it. Just I've got caught out before. Easy to forget when unpacking as we're always all so keen to get our new car ready to play!

I wonder how do you charge ? Is there only a 12v connector at the charger.is there a way to charge with 220v?

Buy a fast charger that's 120v/240v powered. You need to bear in mind that to make these cars at a certain price point they need to save money somewhere. They DONT want to skimp on the car or be plagued by breakage issues so they cut money by saving on the charger. They are not the only manufacturre doing this. MAKE SURE YOU BUY a charger that fast charges LIPO s not just Nimh.

So I need to change the Battery connectors to use a different Charger?those directly from traxxas can only charge those with their connectors

Steffen Frank no those traxxas chargers can charge all different types of lipos. There is a cover plate on the front that you remove and plug in the lipo balance connector and you hold down the left and right button till it flashes and you can charge all different types of lipos. They come with instructions that tell how to. That's what I did, I bought a traxxas Id charger to charge my non traxxas lipos. Or if you are charging a nimh your local hobby shop can make you a hop up connector for whatever connector you need for about $5-$10.

Is the body a direct fit on the stampede 4x4?

No. The front bumper on the 4x4 sticks out a tad to far. I had to cut the top hump off on the bumper to get it to fit.

Couldn't you just put that body on a 4x4 Stampede? It's the same chassis isn't it?

Aardvark yes. It's the stampede chassis so you should be fine.

Will the brushed Motor that comes in the truck handle the 2S lipo? Or do I have to replace it with a brushless Motor?

+Slk Ric it will run lipos WITH the brushed motor so no need to upgrade to brushless. It handles 2s fine

Now I did ask that question and as yet they are saying the body isn't currently being sold separately, but I guess demand will push them to (And they have to sell a replacement to cover damaged ones). Glad we are thinking alike and yes I already asked the question.

John you are right. However if I was buying the stampede or this I'd buy this for the looks. On the plus side it's a proven/tunable platform. The wheels tires are the second biggest difference. But to answer your question yes!

They are $229.95 from F &M Hobbies vs about $245 from Traxxas. It does look good, better than the bigfoot they released before Christmas

Driftomaniacs Hey Richie you should check the monster jam schedule as they tour all over the US and should be in NJ alot. Would probably be a blast to take the family to, bet your daughter would have a blast! I'm taking my nephew in about a month.
