Really love your repair videos. Again, gives me great insights into repairs I've not done yet. I've only ever broken two arms on my Maxx. And since I have multiple Traxxas vehicles for different types of fun the Maxx only does jumps and flips. In a 25 minute session I'm getting in 2 jumps a minute so roughly 50 jumps I a session. And we're talking 10 feet high, 25 feet long ... multiple front and back flips. And sometimes I have poor landings. That's a TOUGH RC vehicle. Really love it.

Great video, thank you. What fan/heatsink is that for the sledge? Since the maxx slash has the same motor as the sledge i wonder with the same hs/fan work on the maxx slash..

Great vid - thanks for another the repair lesson. I've heard a lot of people say the front bulkheads on the Maxx are a weak point. I believe you said you've already broken two. I know the Integy BHs are $99.99 ($88 more than than stock plastic), but to save the repeated repair work and the diff components, wouldn't it be worth it? What will you do with the broken ears on the servo? I'm waiting for the Maxx 600 servo (2085R) to ship to upgrade my Maxx, but it has the same housing config. Will there be any way to fix those ears if/when I brake them? Maybe CA glue and baking soda?

Honestly no, we’ve only broken two front bulkheads in over 2 years of extreme bashing. I did install the 2275 servo from the Sledge off camera. I felt that needed to be a separate video so I could also show how to set the endpoints. MAXX is very durable stock, I still won’t upgrade anything.

Dynamite Marine Grease, switching to Udder Butter.
