Thanks for all that great information ...could you please let me know where you got that connector that converts to EC5
@SuperFastRc2 жыл бұрын
I actually made them, i could not find a pre-made one that would serve as a lossless adapter. Most one the ones i saw online used sub-par wire or connectors.

Here is one that is similar to what i made Zahara Current Adapter Replacement for Traxxas Female to EC5 IC5 12AWG: EC-5 IC-5 TRX ID ESC LiPo www.amazon.com/dp/B08R5W8T1F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_KR1CZ02W7HARVD4VHAQC

What should I look for in looking at a used one also can you get Chargers for the batteries and parts on Amazon if necessary?
@SuperFastRc2 жыл бұрын
You want to look for the amount of wear on the underside of the truck and if there is alot of rust on the screws. This will tell you if the truck has been beat hard and if the truck has been cleaned properly after being wet. And yes you can get them off amazon. Look for zeee or hrb would be my recommendation

Do you recommend loosening front Ball cups on the front shocks too. Do you say loosen the rear 1 turn and front the same? I also have the traxxas maxx v2 and love this thing. Thanks for awesome review.
@SuperFastRc Жыл бұрын
I just focused on the rear but i guess you could do the same to the front it cant hurt!

@@SuperFastRc how many turns do you think for both? I jus a backyard basher and park speed runner. Still like the wheelies and such
@SuperFastRc Жыл бұрын
@@justinreid8851 i would go 2 to 3 turns max to retain durability. Anymore than that i would look for some longer rod ends that would fit.

@@SuperFastRc ok got it! Ook what about shock fluid. It says 60w from factory but doesn't feel like it. About 70w rear and 60w front? Your thoughts
@SuperFastRc Жыл бұрын
@@justinreid8851 i would always go heavier in the front and lighter in the rear. Do if you do 60 rear do 70 front. It will aid with rear end traction.

Traxxas manual states truck comes with 60w oil all around. If this is true then you did nothing. Not saying you're wrong as I'm looking at what weight to throw in mine, but when I read that....i was like there's no way! What's your take on this? Download the manual and look for yourself. I interested in your response as Im still a newbie... Also all the e clip hinge pins I could find were for other models, I dont think traxxas makes a set, can you drop a link?
@SuperFastRc2 жыл бұрын
Thats definitely not true for my truck…. Im guessing they made a running change to 60wt. Mine was shipped with 30wt oil. Hinge pin set is TRA8940X

@@SuperFastRc Yea im not sure. I have the very first run of the vehicle as you do. I wonder if the next batch expected this month will be 60w and they updated the manual. It makes no sense...
@SuperFastRc2 жыл бұрын
@@ryanbuster4626 Yeah, all i know is moving to actual 60wt made all the difference for me.

I just got the new batch of trucks an I’m thinking it’s 30wt
