I bought a Revo 3.3 used, I rebuilt the shocks, and added 50W oil, added heavier springs, and alloy swing arms, and a sway bar kit. I changed the clutch and spur gear, and went with a HR 17 tooth clutch bell, and a 42 tooth steel spur gear. The rest of it is bone stock. I also updated the Tx and Rx to the 2.4GHz with telemetry, and bluetooth module. I had to buy a wheelie bar for it because as soon as I nailed the throttle, it would instantly flip over backwards. It's a fun truck, and I bash the crap out of it every chance I get. Next thing I need to do is rebuild the engine as she is getting tired. It's a solid truck, and I haven't broken too much on it yet.

Awesome video! I am getting one from my friend for $150 and it hasn't been run in like 2 years. what do you think I should do to it to get it working? I drove it before and it worked. Would I just need to clean out the engine?

how hard are nitro to take care of vs electric? I have a Rustler vxl and a stampede 4x4 VXL. nitro seem like alot of work/maintenance

Dude, your video is excellent!!! You should be making video's for Traxxas. You really got some nice action shots. What processing program do you use to edit? I take a lot of video's of my cars and trucks running but I don't know how to edit with a program.

I put some proline mashers on mine and I wasn't sure about it at first that they would look too big but the revo looks so much more aggressive than a tmaxx/emaxx the big prolines fit it very well.

What exactly did you put on the revo to make the ride height higher? I want to do this with my classic revo 3.3 because im tired of the low ride height for bashes. I know you said you used summit rockers arms, but im not sure if you changed up the pushrods or what? Thanks in advanced.

+kelmm568 Hey man, all i did was change the rocker arms and adjusted ride high by tightening down the springs on the shocks. otherwise theirs nothing else you need to do.

i picked my revo off ebay for 200 bucks, and whenever i give it gas, it sounds like there isnt enough gas in the engine and it doesnt move. it just makes a deep sound like its about to shut off. i put it stock, put it rich, and lean. still wont fix the problem. is this a tune problem? the slipper clutch is fine and the clutch in the bell is fine. it gets gas through the fuel line, and exhuast comes out when its idling. it will idle fine, but once i give it gas it wont go. also if i loosen my idle screw it will start to increase speed just fine. plz help me i have spent countless hours working and researching. any help would be greatly appreciated!

John Traner Have you tried a new glow plug? otherwise it sounds like either your Tune is still off or something is bound up in the drivetrain causing stress on the motor.

I believe that my engine has a air leak in the carb and i bought a new one on ebay for 10 bucks. Also im gonna get a team associated. 21 engine for 30 bucks in 1h if the bids dont go up. I just want to drive my car so bad, i worked on it so long. Thx for helping though!
