Traxxas Revo Pushrod 5318X Aluminum Review

So with repeated problems of having pushrod ends pop off my E Revo, I decided to try out the Traxxas upgraded pushrods. They come in two sizes, 5318x and 5319x. I was hoping to find that they have upgraded rod ends, but they seem to be the same. Time will tell if they hold up however, but they look awesome installed!
7075-T6 aluminum push rods decrease the total weight of the truck by 31 grams
Rod ends are already installed
Use with long travel or #5357 progressive-1 rockers
When using progressive-2 rockers, spacers (part # 5133) are required for use with the 5318 or 5318X push rods

They sell the same rods with metal ends! That's what I put in my Revo! No problems since!

I have the nitro revo that needs new push rods and toe rods. They have the spacers on them and the ball ends and rods are rusted not sure of what rocker arms I have and is there a complete kit available?

never happened to my E-Revo... anyway those TRA5319 and TRA5319X are for progressive-3 rocker arms TRA5359 which it seems you are not running (they are longer) so not sure if it's a good upgrade alone just replace the rod end for a new one and problem solved, the 5319 most likely have the exact same rod ends as the 5318 if you keep stripping the threads for some strange reason than get the RPM rod ends

Would you be able to use thread locker on the pushrods? I used them for the toe links...

eh, not sure...I know they keep changing lengths on things, not sure if they're still compatible.

Seems like getting one with metal rod ends and then epoxy them together, so they physically cannot separate should work. Odd nobody has come up with this and made a video.
