Uh so you are converting it into a rustler i guess with a rear wing ? or keeping the long wheelbase chassis of the traxxas slash ? Usually truggies are just buggies with a truck body, wider rims,tires and a rear wing after all at least in the 1:8th scale side of things. but i guess you are going for something like the thread here ? forums.traxxas.com/showthread.php?8899912-Slash-4x4-Truggy-Conversion

What type of screws are found on these 2WD Brushed XL-5 cars? Are they Hex head or Phillips head? Do all the the Traxxas 2WD brushed XL-5 cars always need to have the blue antenna stick out of the body shell? Or can you keep them under the body shell when driving? thx

Hex screws and you can tuck the antenna under with a shortie

How is your servo saver (horn) holding up? I find that part a bit flimsy, mine started developing some clicking noises too. I checked if it was coming from the servo, by dismantling the saver from the servo, but it was not. It's the servo saver.
