Love the vid ive searched and found those props mentioned want to get one for mine wich leads me to my question where both 2 blade props they are avail in two or three blade design so not sure where to start but very helpfull video it answered many other questions i had great job.

@thewateredge in the manual it shows you to bend them down 2 to 4mm hope this helps I love my boat

Not sure if you still have this boat, but you could try a back cut M445 prop that could really wake it up without excess heat in the motor and esc...

I just purchased a Spartan love it!! My only problem is the nose wants to pull up running 11.1 I have trim tabs just not sure where i should place them for high speed? Thanks for any suggestions!

How long did you run the octura x642 before you took the temp readings and were you running the stock cooling setup

Hello just wanted to thank you for the response back many dont reply i dont actually have my spartan yet it was out of stock but your vid and msg make me think my idea will work with the 447 prop theres a company called maxxamps that makes a water pump so im going to do the water mod with a duel pickup rudder seperate lines to the esc and motor with a pump on each line as well thinking that may get an even cooler temp not sure if its going to work but it will either run nice and cool or sink....

Just got one dont know much about it. What batteries you running? We are running the 11.1v lipos 5400. Also what trim tabs are you running??

hey I have the traxxas spartan and when I open it up (throttle) it torques on the right side hard....doesn't turn right just torques on the hull on the right side bad....what did u do to stop this..cause it wont go wide open it drags to much when it does it

Adjust the trim tab on that side.
