What I’ll always love about my brushed 2wd stampede is although I have an Xmaxx, a maxx, and a brushless rustler, you just know for a fact that when you turn on the brushed system it’ll run, and run good with no issues. Just a very simple low maintenance system, and quite quick may I add. Plenty fun.

Impressive, considering you had it go UPHILL! I bought one myself, the Stampede with lights on the front and red on the rear. scared my dogs, I thought they would chase it, they both ran to the back door wanting to go inside, LOL

I think it is worth the cost of the stampede (I think it comes with stock metal gears) the servo and variator are waterproof ... there are some advantages that the kyosho monster tracker lacks (most servos and variators are not waterproof) in kyosho (the advantage is that kyosho does include battery and charger) great review!

It accelerates faster with the lipo, nimh is weak and sags a lot, lipos don’t break a sweat with these brushed motors
