Great video! About to order my daughter the Mega Moto 98cc. Was the governor removed here to get this speed?.... or ziptied? Any other mods?

Take the governer out it will give you a few extra miles. All it does is it limits how much you can pull the throttle down of your take it off it takes that restriction off too.

You probably getting that slight pull cause your passenger front tire and (rear driver side tire should be switched around… the tread is backwards! Nice video btw

I glued mine on, after stepping on it. Then it was stepped on again. Took ages to get all the glue off ans the 3 main screws but that LED is a pain in the ass! changed my dji fpv landing gear and antenna board x100 easier.

was this done on the stock gear setup that the rustler came with? or did you guys install the high speed gear set that came optional in the box? My brushed ruster does 35 or 37 with the 2s battery and the high speed gearing installed, and im about to buy the vxl3s system. Trying to figure out how fast it'll go with this gear setup + the new brushless motor combo and the 2s battery.

What I’ll always love about my brushed 2wd stampede is although I have an Xmaxx, a maxx, and a brushless rustler, you just know for a fact that when you turn on the brushed system it’ll run, and run good with no issues. Just a very simple low maintenance system, and quite quick may I add. Plenty fun.

Great video. A little tip, you can actually turn the led sideways and sneak it through that gap without using a dremel tool.

I own two of the Bigfoot’s. Classic and the Red/White/Blue flame 🔥 version. Love them both. But part of the fun is getting your own clear bodies and painting them up however you want, as I also have a couple of the bodies Ive done myself as 79 Fords without the badging. The truck just looks awesome with that 79 body on it.

It probably doesn't matter as much in RC especially for a simple basher, but any tread pattern shaped like a V should point in the direction of rotation for forward movement of the vehicle. Your fronts are correct, the backs are wrong. Love the monster buggy. How much bigger are the pede wheels compared to even the Rustler wheels? And do you think the Bandit just with different wheel/tire sizes is the best overall 2wd platform for bashing? What about a LWB Rustler or an ultra-narrow LCG slash?

Also, did you up the gearing at all from this video? I notice the Stampede stock gearing is 19/86. I’m giving that a go assuming it will work ok without too much strain and still keep quite a bit of speed

Hey mate, sorry for the comment on the old video. Did you upgrade the rear arms at all? If so, which ones. I’ve done the same with the stampede tires and often the wheels are rubbing on the chassis and body, and sometimes even the shocks
@FatherandSonHavingFun
@FatherandSonHavingFun 6 ай бұрын
If I remember correctly, I used front stampede wheels and tires because of the offset of the wheels to prevent rubbing.

I may have used slash arms as well...it was a trial and error project with input from my Hobbytown mechanic who sadly passed away.

I had one of these roll cages for my VXL Slash, it looked kinda cool. Until the first time I bashed it into something. The plastic bumpers etc are good at absorbing the impact, the steel cage did not just bounce back... = ( Perhaps if that front loop was either shortened or removed it would allow the bumper to absorb all of the impact without transferring any shock to the cage.

The USA 1 also reminds me of the early 80s and my monster truck facinaton, welll late eighty's because the body style didn't start until 88 to be super OCD. Bigfoot was my first however, she popped my love for wild camshafts, the old blower's with 3 eyelids, blue metallic pants not still my favorite colors. I 😘 be it
