It did work well. Unfortunately, I broke it later, being too ambitious! But, it is now replaced and I have "snatch blocks" (pulleys) to help next time!

Nice! Awesome footage and setup! How difficult was it to wire in the winch? Was thinking of getting one for my TRX4, but wasn't sure how to wire it in and JUST found out Traxxas releasing a plug n play factory option!

Hi. Thanks for the kind words. The wiring was fairly straightforward, I chose a remote system with a JST plug, so used that with a Y cable from the Traxxas ESC power output, but ran it through the voltage regulator as the winch is only rated to 9 v. All I needed was one short extension lead with JST plugs each end. But, I have also seen the Traxxas winch. I'm more than happy with mine, but had I known about the impending Traxxas release, I might have waited!

Hi, Thanks! The sound is ESS One, a bit cheaper than the Dual😄 The winch is good, but fragile - I now use snatch-blocks. I might try a Traxxas winch if it fails.....
