Hi bro...that is a metal bumper with winch mounts- got some 6holes in it so can position any type of winch. Currently im using that bumper in my RC gen8- and mounted a warn winch. Thanks for liking- currently i dismounted that defender body and im using the proline raptor.

Great looking rig. I suggest Duratrax deepwoods for that dirt terrain its very similar to what I run in I use the c3 compound they are very soft. May want a harder compound. They also do well on rock. Im running the trx4 sport is why i say stiffer.for your heavier rig.
