Super helpful. Thank you. However, with the 59mm shocks my front drive shaft was binding as the angle at the transmission was very steep. Went with a 56mm shock (53 mm hole to hole) instead. Less drive shaft angle and will give me a better look as i am doing a F150 monster truck build
@rcfungames11 ай бұрын
Awesome!! I'm glad to hear that! If every single video just helps one person it makes it worth it. Exactly in my opinion the 59 mm shocks are just overkilled and cause more problems than it's worth! I think two videos after this one is when I fitted the 53mm shocks and I explained exactly why I prefer running them on the Traxxas trx4m and and the best setup to eliminate torque twist. I think you've definitely gone the right way it will definitely be a better set up all round!! Thank you so much for watching bro and leaving an awesome comment. 🤜💥🤛

Awesome video! For some reason it lowered mine in the front and have 45 degree angles for my driveshafts. I have the 56mm shocks but it’s just super low in the front and most of my travel is gone.
@rcfungames15 күн бұрын
Thank you bro, I appreciate that! Play around with your shock positions to see if you can get it to sit a bit higher, and then look carefully at what is limiting your travel. As you should have pretty good trouble with 56 mm shocks. Something must be catching or limiting the travel. Servo cable! links touching each other, links catching the servo! Or serve a horn catching the bumper mount. Have a close look I'm sure you'll find one of those are causing your issue

Hi bro, I really appreciate you watching all my videos! That's some epic support to the channel!! Thank you very much!! I also started in this hobby by playing with much faster rigs and it was all about jumping and bashing them!! But I learned that the crawlers are a much, calmer side to the Hobby!! You also end up not breaking as many parts playing with these. When I first started out I can't say they was any crawlers that were decent! But since I've restarted in the hobby there are so many different brands and setups available, for all different types of crawling From scale Trail crawling to comp crawling! It's all a lot of fun and really got me hooked. I'm so glad you enjoyed the content and I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave me a comment. Welcome to the crawler world buddy 🤜💥🤛

Do you think the brass links are worth getting? Or do you think that would be too much weight? I love your vids by the way❤
@rcfungames8 ай бұрын
Hi bro, the brass links are okay, but the difference between the weight of the stainless steel and the brass isn't a lot!! I have seen quite a few broken brass high clearance links now, I haven't broken any on the trx4m but I have broken on other rigs that I have used brass links! The problem with Brass is that once it bends, it just cracks and breaks off the threaded end. The stainless steel links will take a lot more before they will break. So in my opinion I would go for the stainless steel links. Thanks bro, I really appreciate that! It's always great to get some feedback on the videos! 🤜💥🤛

How many of theses Bronco and Defender parts are interchangeable,to the K10 I know the drive shafts are different,and the hi clearance links are different,and possibly the transmission unit ,help thanks
@rcfungames Жыл бұрын
The transmission is the same as the Bronco and Defender, the only difference between the (Bronco Defender) and the high Trail is the length of the chassis, that means only the drive shafts and links are different. Everything else is the same! I hope that helps. Any doubts on anything I can help with feel free to ask 👍

Hey I have a big problem and I don’t know how to fix it right now, thought you could help? My servo keeps hitting the frame rails and it’s preventing me from getting full flex out of my shocks.. thoughts?
@rcfungames Жыл бұрын
There's definitely issues with the front end once you start getting too much flex there is not much you can do with the way it's set up, I would say give the new INJORA Lay Down Servo Mount With Steering Links a try I am sure that it will give you the clearance you need to get your full flex 💪 www.injora.com/products/injora-lay-down-servo-mount-with-steering-links-for-1-18-trx4m-stock-length-axles

With the angle of the front axle does it hurt the steering with it cated forward a little bit or is it no problem?

Can you put longer shocks on without these high clearance links?
@rcfungames7 ай бұрын
You can put longer shocks but you probably going to have problems with the angles on your front drive shaft. But you should be able to. When you do get high clearance links, make sure you get the ones with the plastic ends so you can adjust them with a spacer so you can sit the angle on your drive shaft.

My servo hits the little front brace
@rcfungamesАй бұрын
If you are running the lay down Servo setup, put the servo on behind the mount, it will give you the clearance you need. If you are still running the upright Servo setup, you will have cut a bit of the bumper mount in the back away to allow for enough clearance.

My servo is hitting the plastic peice tfor the clipless body
@rcfungames Жыл бұрын
Hello and yes I have also run into this problem! You have to sit and carve away the back side of the bumper Mount until you get enough clearance for your Servo. Also if your Servo cable is coming out the front take a little bit of super glue and glue it standing upwards so you pull the cable and the rubber boot out of the way of the mount. Hope that helps
