Put box tape over magnets to prevent "smacking" together. Provides just enough cushion to prevent magnets from shattering. Rare earth magnets so strong and are very brittle

I picked up a nice bed on ebay with a nice stainless liner and a tire rack. The unfortunate issue is it is made of steel and its very heavy. Threw the center of gravity through the roof. That looks like a really nice looking bed and it doesn't look heavy at all. Im not sure how i feel about the magnets though.

That’s why I did a video after this video showing the truck jumping and really doing a lot of unspeakable things to it to see how the bed stays on and it stayed on fine. Thanks for watching.

That's actually NICE!! 👍👍 I've seen a couple of drop Bed kits that were either badly made, or worse - weren't that DEEP! 😖😠 I need to find out what other kits they make. Maybe my Pro-Line Comanche Body or even my Komodo Raptor Body. Carmine ✈🚂🚙

Is the chassis magnet holder metal? If not, a few people have done a mod where the body lighting wires are connected to the magnets in the body, and the lighting power from the receiver are connected to the magnets on the chassis, so as soon as you put the body on the magnets make the circuit and turn the lights on. You never have to faff with the little lighting plug. I guess if it's metal you can do the same but just cut the middle section out of the magnet holder.

Yup, this works! I also use neo magnets to attach charger leads to 18650 and other loose batteries😎

Been better if it was able to be glued on instead of screwed. That way the body would get more support form it to reduce stress points.

I think the reason they didn’t push gluing is because of the rollbar bolt on braces underneath. Love all the comments and thank you for watching.
