the Duratrax are definitely more composed. but correct, the ballooning/ expanding tires makes it faster. thank goodness for TSM. We can both have all the Arrmas out there but XMaxx is still King.

That’s a great test Moe! Conventional wisdom has it that belted tires that don’t balloon won’t give you the highest top speeds because the diameter is constant. Their strength is control and drive ability. Stock tires that do balloon gives you the extra volume which the truck dances along on the top of and you get a higher top speed - but I’d never seen that POV tested! Do you get any thermal shut downs with that gearing or is it just too cold where you are? Nice job 👍😊😎🤟

Which lock tight are you using on the pinion mines sitting at home I put some blue on there before I left for the week and figured I would let it sit once I figure out what gearing I'm gonna leave for a while I'm gonna use the red but curious if it's red your using and still having break loose

hey moe how are you wanted to ask for when u did the typhon 6s with mojave tyres did the typhon over heat cuz mine does i hav bigger tyres then stock but smaller then mojave tyres and mine overheats is their a way to fix tht?
