Everyone loves the Xmaxx, even kids. I like how well your Son drives and doesn't go all crazy crashing into stuff. I was kind of afraid to let my Grandkids drive anything over 12th scale but they drive better than me so honestly it's no big deal as long as you give them some basic safety tips and supervise them. "Sharing is caring". At least that's what my Granddaughter says when I bring out my cars. Great video. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍

Interesting to hear your thoughts. I ended up getting an XRT just before Christmas and I'm really enjoying it. I like the LCG nature of it and it seems to run so smooth and feels very neutral. Just my style I guess. Plus, as you say, most of the places I run are reasonably smooth, so ground clearance is less of a concern for me. Will modify it over time with HW Max 6 ESC, different servo, and replace the pinion / spur. Just enjoying it box stock for now.

I've never want an XMaxx but will be buying the XRT for sure, I'm more of a racer the a basher, I'm lucky to have lots of track venues and bashing spots to choose from. I never give anyone my rc cars to drive anymore, I learnt my lesson many years ago after having 2 cars in 2 days broken letting people have a go of my cars lol .

Wow how cool was the kid and very opinionated which I liked. Yes the spray info was good to hear also I always thought it was a reactor or something. I thought it was very cool of you Earl to hand over the controller and have trust in the kid with such a powerful RC he was awesome and didn't abuse it too much either. A good location for the running of the big cars. I do agree with you the xmax with the wide kit is the best of both worlds. Another great vid by EM. 💯👌

To get a true honest opinion, ask a kid. His mum should be proud, he's a smart kid and very polite, three scooters is a bit much 🤣 Earl keep up to great work, can't commend you enough. A man who shows time for strangers is a winner in my book.

MONGREL X-RT is KRATON shocks all 4 corners but reversed front to back with Kraton front springs on longer fronts giving that trophy truck style front end.

I think the xmaxx body coming off every 10 seconds is enough to make me never want to deal with it. I'm so happy they fixed that with the XRT.

Just for the Record Earl I got the Max 8 g2 combo 2250 kv setup on my traxxas sledge and love it!!! Sensored systems work awesome on a basher cause on demand power and if you wanna crawl next to you after a bash session then it’s like your best friend… man’s best friend 🤣😂🤣

Sensor motors tend to break the sensor in the back on bad landing as I broke 3 2028 motors that way and now I just don’t plug them in 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@earlmoorhead5555 maybe so but when I secure my wires I tend to a little slack and not leave wires flopping to prevent wire breakage… bash hard enough to know it holds up fine 👍👍👍

@@nofreerides7033 it’s not the wires in the inside back part of the motor the sensor eye hits the spinning shaft on hard landing castle warranty it twice and said it will continue to break at it’s not meant for hard impact 🤷🏻‍♂️💯

Cool kid. He knows a lot about rc cars 👍. Everyday i watch vids about xmaxx and xrt because its Hard to choose 😖😩😥. Maybe one Day i will have both, but which one should i get first... 🤷🏼‍♂️. I like the XRT Look but i also like the xmaxx with the Wide Kit. I will get a Roller to biuld the Rest like i want it.

After some hard saving I brought the xmaxx, I don't think the xrt offer's enough of a difference to be worthy of my cash. Looks great and good fun, but I think the xmaxx does what I want from it. If I could afford both then maybe, but I can't lol. So if was getting another car it would have to be something totally different.

Yes traxxas link is available when you add it it will ask you to update the traxxas link easy to do take a few minutes so be next to WiFi for the update linked to you phone app 👍💯

Great comparison between those two bad boys. I never driven the XRT so comparing for me makes not much sense. I have the xmaxx and insm very happy with it. It got the Widekit and besides is stock. I think people just need to know what kind of driving they like. You can’t compare a monstertruck with a truggy, drivewise. Question would be, you’re an monstertruck fan or you like to bash with high speed

Idk if I’m a monster truck fan but I do like fast rc cars and I like to bash and jump rc cars problem I have with the XRT in my videos shows it hits rock and lands on the low wheelie bar most of the time ⚠️🤷🏻‍♂️
