Yes for bashing definitely change the tires. Those stock Gravix tires don't have much air control compared to Sledgehammers. It will go a lot faster too and maybe a bit more cushion and ground clearance on landing. Some of the guys also buy stiffer springs for it from Traxxas. I like the Gravix on my XRT for ripping around a pylon course as I find the handling in corners better with them. Loved how you jumped over your bud in the air., you had a nice first day out with it. I am heading out with my Xmaxx in a couple of hours. I am going to take my GPS and get a couple of speed runs to compare belted vs non-belted tires on it. Your buddy reminds me of one of my old coworkers, Joe Grandjam. Nicest guy you could ever meet.

Thanks for the info. I'm definitely getting stiffer springs and may just grab a set of sledgehammer tires and test if it rubs the body, and waiting on 44spur to show up hopefully Friday.

@@victorevan7893 I like the Sledgehammer on the XRT but like you said you could get a bit of rub with the narrower Xmaxx arms. Hopefully not.

I got 53 with non belted sledgehammer on xmaxx and 50 with belted sledgehammer tires, that's with 20t pinion and 44t spur. With stock electronics.

Buy the gpm brace I have both m2c and gpm but gpm is longer and bolts to 8 screws instead of 6. Great videos.

Thanks for the info. Is it pnw or gpm makes their own, but 8 sounds better than 6.
