I changed my Maxx to the same size tires, car sputtered to go was told to change pinion gear Ratio one or two sizes up on order now.

I put these on my maxx, also tried the 3.8 trenchers. Look badass but the battery goes flat much faster! Mebbe smaller ring gear? They also twisted my plastic driveshafts

Definitely Better than stocks😊 and they have way more grip too. I’ve actually had pretty good luck with stock axles. When I high traction Area’s I try and be a little less throttle happy. I know it’s tough when having fun but overall way better tires than stock. Thank you for tuning in 🤘🏼💯😊

I’ve never had issues running badlands. I think it all depends on what surface you run on. I usually run in loose dirt or grass. Grass definitely bites more for sure. Trenchers have a little less bite but still awesome for loose dirt IMO

Austin Elder- the Maxx will tend to roll when it has stock suspension... i actually put the wide Maxx kit on my trucks and it handles for to my liking 😊

Nice i've been looking to replace my tires on my Maxx as well. Im pretty new to the hobby and still picking up on stuff as im getting back into it but I do have a question with getting bigger tires. Question: I have the widemaxx kit, and also have the widemaxx steel cvd kit installed on my Maxx, would adding bigger tires like this be too much for the gears to handle? I don't do any bashing like crazy jumps or anything insane like that, mostly dirt, grass fields and beaches for mine. I'm on the fence of upgrading tires because of fear of just breaking everything, whats your thoughts on that? Nice video, very informative on how to put on tires for the Maxx and what it looks like, good stuff!

Cool tires but Proline knowsnhow to annoy users of these tores, screw the screws into frame, then some weird crap magic happening and fibally putting on wheels on rc... geez. No thank you, I stick with 12mm hex

Trenchers have really good grip as well. There just a bit more mild on the traction side in grass. Grass surface is super high bite/grip

The prolines 2.8 do fit but they come with the 12 mm hub adapters. You can buy the 17 mm hubs for the 2.8 from proline. I love that the hubs are interchangeable. Also if you strip one out you only need to replace the hub not the whole wheel.
