I like that Floyd wanted to touch gloves immediately after getting up from his slip. Guy loves to talk shit to sell fights but those little moments make it clear that he respects boxing and the people that have what it takes to get on the ring.

Floyd actually looked up to Genaro. He had a poster of him in his room. Genaro is considered one of the best 130lb of all time. He only lost to Oscar at 135. Came back to 130 and got the WBC back and was on his 3-4 title defense against Mayweather. He didn’t have to fight Mayweather but he did and Mayweather always gives him his just due.
