The chorus is perfection. That melody moves you even if you don't want to. Favorite hits that 90's feel. Love on the Floor, the nostalgia... you are going back in time the entire track. SM keeps making good quality music.

When I woke up to see the music video dropped that day I was so sad I didn't stay up because it didn't disappoint. Love the vampire theme, we got a dance break, YUTA SHINED ON HIS BIRTHDAY at that. Everyone looked beautiful and sounded great as usual. Love the whistle throughout the song. Crazy to see how much people liked this whistle sound compared to Sticker. QUEEN STICKER WITH THE MOST WINS. Still have this on replay. Thank you for the reaction.

Hi. I'm 69 and white. My high school days were filled with Marvin Gaye, Richie Havens, Curtis Mayfield, Aretha, Ashford and Simpson, Chaka Khan , and Michael Jackson. I loved every second of them. . I loved break dancing and the movie "Drumline". I sure hear the percussion in this song. Since 2013 when I first heard good Kpop I can't even remember my past musical loves. I love the collaborations groups like Monsta X and A.C.E. are doing blending West Coast sound with Korean . I used to be BTS army but since I discovered NCT through the ballet dancer's bio on Win Win and Chinese classical dance which I also love, NCT is my favorite "group" (all branches). Stray Kids is second in favorites. Hundreds more groups follow them in making me happy. I love this song maybe the most and appreciate hearing about the percussion history behind it . Beautiful blending. Thanks for your respectful analysis of this song.

My favorite NCT 127 song ever was Superhuman until I heard this one. I honestly don’t know how they could ever top this one. If they ever do I’ll be honestly amazed. What really stood out to me was the heavy, heavy synth on the hook. So that heavy synth + the melodic harmonies makes you feel like you’re floating on a cloud. It literally gives you a haunting euphoric feeling. Anyway, thanks for your another great reaction! Darkchild will be highly sought after in Kpop after this masterpiece.

Tbh whilst I liked Sticker, compared to Favorite this is definitely the repackage this album needed, pre ordered my first kpop album after hearing this track! Additionally got to say besides the drums, my favorite part of the production has got to be the whistle, feels it ties it together to the flute in Sticker so it feels like we've come full circle! Great reaction per usual

A curiosity about the song is that songwriter Kenzie only wrote Love (saranghae) in the lyrics of Girls' Generation's debut song "Into The New World" and now "Favorite" it's the second time in 14 years she's use this word again in a lyric of another song. I must say that I was impatiently waiting to see your response to this video. I loved and appreciated it. I totally agree with everything you guys said about the video . That was probably one of the first things I noticed was the marching band drums. That hook that , that harmony, that beat drop and dance break. No one else could have pulled this off in the way that NCT did. SM and there Artist always set the bar high. And I really appreciate that they don't mind going out of their comfort zone and testing them water to create and bring us something different. I also appreciate that they use different types of producers to give us different types of sounds. NCT 127 can adapt to any style of music and make it work. That's Talent. SM Hip Hop/ R&B sound NCT is my Favorite and so is this Song.

Im sure America can find and train black talent so our producers will bring back the flavor from where it came. No hate to NCT its not them I disagree with, they are SUPER talented BUT our record companies are losing (or fraternizing) to SM and others. Producers are gonna produce regardless and these are high stakes. 💰
