The fact they debuted with THIS was absolutely huge back in the day. It was so controversial, (even censored) and they debuted in a amongst more traditionally “innocent” and bubbly concept groups. 👏🏼 it’s so iconic!

The song was produced by Teddy Riley and the group was more than promising, being even sponsored by YG for one comeback. They debuted in 2011. Many members left after this debut and there were a LOT of line up changes. Teddy left them, saying he felt sorry for such talented girls to be under such a sh*tty company. They later rebranded as BP Rania, with Alex, if u know her, being the "first kpop idol of color" in a group. But she was screwed over and only used for clout. The group kinda "disbanded", rebranding as Blackswan with Fatou, if u remember. 2-3 Blackswan members were even part of the 2016 Rania lineup. But one of them, Hyeme, left Blackswan a few months after debut. Blackswan even perform some Rania songs like "Demonstrate". None of the original line up is left btw.

The one doing the ad libs at the end... her name is Jooyi and also goes by Cosmic Girl. She's got a VOICE!!! There's no video for it but their B-side "Say Goodbye" is a chill bop and features ton of Jooyi's amazing vocals.

I don't think that this is similar enough to be regarded as a ripoff of "Sweet Dreams Are Made of This" by the Eurythmics. But if you want to check out more, "Breathe Heavy" is a great song.
