Bravo_Drives It’s on my buddy’s Matrix now. Lol I loved it as much as most of y’all did, but the TRD justified my decisions on exhaust set ups. I couldn’t pass on a very good deal.

How much was the borla? And where do I get that OEM wing? Got a 2007 XR

Eric Christian the Borla was a custom set up I got done for $100 at a muffler shop by me. Borla did make an axleback for the Matrix but it’s been discontinued since who knows how long ago. The wing is not OEM, I got it from eBay. Search up “Toyota Matrix JKS wing”. You can thank me later!

Hi! Does all TRD mufflers sound the same for matrix? I found one at our local toyota, part number PTR0302061. Not sure how this will sound. I wanted the same as you have.

IIRC that one was made specifically for the 9th Gen Corolla (03-08). Anything can fit with custom routed piping. However for mine, it was specific for the 1st Gen Matrix (03-08). As far as sound goes, this was my first ever TRD exhaust so I wouldn’t be too sure on how the others will sound. @2zzlow made a video on his acquired TRD exhaust for his Corolla XRS, I’d check it out.
