While not much to write home about regarding certain design choices, their cheaper prices and converting gimmicks seem to be their saving grace. Especially being aimed for children. Toy Story but it's Star Convoy instead of Buzz Lightyear, it could probably work just as well.

ive had nightshade for a while and they are lovely. the budget on the earthspark deluxes works well with their form factor, they’re small enough to not feel like they’re hollowed out, even the legs can be forgiven with their lovely articulation and unique transformation. they just feel very right for the character even if they’re not entirely screen accurate. also, i would like a deluxe jawbreaker please, the earthspark warriors are certainly a step up from the cyberverse warriors but i think he could still do with that extra push to be truly as good as he can be.

i think a listing for a deluxe Jawbreaker slipped out a while ago alongside the listings for the recently released deluxes of Thrash and Prowl, so it's a matter of time I think

I believe we're getting a Deluxe Jawbreaker at some point, so I'm definitely looking forward to it. Jawbreaker is my favorite of the Terrans.

My wife is a thrift & clearance shopper & she will pick me up ANYTHING TF related if it scratches that itch. She’s got me a few of these & they can be great lil’ shelf fillers. They all seem to have a hit or miss gimmick. They’re not great & some are laughable, but I like the weird version of Swoop that came with a horrible version of Bumblebee that makes a bizarre combiner. That Grimlock looks decent!

Haven't been able to get into Cyberverse or Earthspark myself, just not what I like in Transformers, but I am digging that pearlescent-green plastic & powder-blue metallic paint on Nightshade... and, "cheerio", Gavin? No "shove off" or anything? You feeling ok? Or just going soft? 😂

Out of the four, I only gotten Grimlock and Jawbreaker so far. Grimlock is what I wanted (yes a smaller Grimlock) and is mostly decent. Just that I bought a 3P Grimlock (Iron Factory Samurai) whose is so much better! Jawbreaker is again decent but likewise is very hollow. Just wish they could of made the tail longer like have it as a sword Jawbreaker could use!

Now how did you know I picked up nightshade and jawbreaker [and thrash] just 2 days ago.... they are lovely! Tho its a shame to get a new toy and be wishing for the rework they'll do at somepoint in the future. Hopefully. I did NOT realize jbs gun came out like that. Well that's what u can expect from trdq, added value.

So, there are my thoughts 1 Grimlock - A good looking Cyberverse Deluxe retool. I dare to say he even look's better than Cyberverse. Skullcruncher -seen better one step changers, but either way, I could care less Nightshade -Dicent robot mode, nice accesories and storage. But as for the Owl mode, it isn't bad, but the arms should have been desighned like ones on Kingdome Cheetor. Jawbreaker - my favorite thas far, besides cutting off the knee spikes for better tail in altmode, I have no problem saying he is quite good.

£55.99 is why I've said "no mas" to Transformers for a while! I'll stick with fun, cheap collectibles. Like MOTU Origins...... what? WHAT?!!! £60?! For Rokkon?! ...... No I didn't buy it off Mattel Creations at the time as I was working!....... Yes I know it's sold out bu........ £60?! Well...... That's another line gone! Time to collect Rock Lords as, unlike Rokkon, they look decent as rocks, ACTUALLY transform AND don't look like a petrified child in robot mode. Yes he's a comet bloke, not a robot blah blah blah, but he looks so bloody awful 🤣 The fours lads in this video were really nice though Gavin! Great review as always and it's nice to see toys still being fun and not taking an age to flip between modes! Will be picking up that Skullcruncher for the kids for sure!

Nightshade's the only one who's on my wishlist from Earthspark. I'm trying to collect every LGBTQ transformer I can. There aren't many in cannon, but my headcanon's a different story

Really want Sandstorm too - shed a few secret tears as a lad when he was blown apart by Galvatron/Megatron in Time Wars. But seeing most of the pricier Legacy toys end up less than half price online in the UK lately, I think I can wait.

i got the takara version of nightshade as a birthday gift a while ago, and their transformation is satisfyingly quick! unfortunately their wing got slightly warped in shipping due to how they're posed in the plastic bubble blister pack, but thankfully the paint's fine. hasbro definitely had the better idea to keep the wings separate. the metallic green is so shiny i think it can actually very slightly reflect me with enough sunlight. i would buy a generations voyager of them with considerable haste

I have Sandstorm. He's mediocre. Robot mode is compromised in a few areas, such as the waist being a little limited and especially the chest not tabbing in correctly, which is a universal problem with all the figures. Dune buggy is fine but that Helicopter mode. Wow, what a helicopter it is!
