The best one is the one you do consistently. Consistency is key to losing weight. I find cycling more fun so I choose that one because I’m more inclined to use my indoor bike especially with the peloton app I use on my iPad.

Nah, you mean: - If you want to lose WEIGHT and dont mind about muscle recovery , pick the treadmill (every step, especially when you run, causes a small amount of damage on your joints from which you have to recover) - If you want to keep as much muscle mass as you can, and get leaner, pick the bike and do LISS (for sure that weightlifting is necessary too)

False! We don’t burn calories when exercising we just increase our metabolism. We lose weight due to healthy diet plan. Body doesn’t adapt it is false, as you have calorie deficit you lose weight. I walk on treadmill for a hour 3 times a week with a speed of 7 km an I go down by 1 kilo a week. I also do 45min swimming once a week. 5 yeas ago I lost 17 kilos an my body had never adapted, I didn’t have any plato during my weight loss journey. I started my recent weight loss 5 weeks ago and have lost 5 kg to date. The first law of thermodynamics do work!
@gerardt3284
@gerardt3284 2 жыл бұрын
Weight training or HIIT is what increases metabolism, because the muscles become bigger/stronger and need more fuel throughout the day to maintain them. But if you're only doing moderate steady state cardio it doesn't increase metabolism much at all, it literally does just burn calories, which is fine if doing so maintains an overall calorie deficit.
