I’m just now discovering the benefits of an indoor rower. When I first started to get back into shape, I picked up an inexpensive magnetic rower to see how I would like it. I’ve outgrown it quickly, however, and I’m now looking to move up to something that provides more resistance. This video was very helpful and I think I’m going to save for the Concept 2. I’ve heard good things about them, many of which you mentioned in the video. I don’t need a screen on my rower, because I use the Apple follow along rowing workouts. Lovely ladies and rowers! I would always recommend C2 over the others for several reasons not mentioned. One is the fact it breaks into 2 parts, as mentioned by another commenter. Secondly, it's massively lighter and less expensive than the Hydrow. The parts are also readily available and it will always work fully, you won't be held to ransom paying subscriptions. In addition, you can connect the PM5 to various apps that run on tablets and phones, if that's your thing. I could go on...but there's no question I'd buy a C2 unless I was an *extremely* casual and wealthy user who would never need to move the item and had a place for it next to the power supply it requires, I *might* consider the Hydrow. As for the others...no thanks. Great video, interesting viewing...👍

I have a second generation Concept rower with the latest PM5 interface, I've use the newer ones at my gym, very hard to beat the support from Concept. They still supply parts for my rower, if you are looking for something that you can keep operational for years, Concept rowers are easy to maintain because my second generation rower works for rowing like the latest model except its NOT quiet, but it rows similar to the latest models. Plus its still the standard for competitive rowing contests. If you like apps and videos this may not be the rower for you.

Hi guys.. great job on the vids! 😎.. After all of the ‘Google hammering’, I Had a look at your 2024 choices. Went front the Hydrow 0:03 to the Nordictrack, then the Proform and Aviron. There’s SO many products out there. I found the Hydrow nice but pricey. The Nordictrack seems like an attempt at Hydrow, which is fine, but I’ve seen elsewhere in other posts that there doesn’t seem to be much difference between level 1 and 26 resistance levels.. Bit of a deal breaker when you’re dropping this much coin on a machine like this. It seems they’ve focused more on the 22inch screen and Ifit content.. (whatever🙄).. Kinda got hung up between Proform and Aviron, notably the R10 and Impact. I love the Power series, but $$$.. I like the idea of a quiet operation, but not a deal breaker as we live in house noise wise and we usually have the music blasting, so..😂.. Also the folding option so we can wheel it away if we want. The hybrid models look really interesting just for the fact that it seems to give better resistance and a more realistic feel. I know there’s a bit of a price differential between the R10 and the Impact, but price aside; Your recommendations? Thanks in advance!
@TreadmillReviewGuru10 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Between the ProForm R10 and the Aviron, we'd definitely recommend the Aviron. The ProForm is fine, and the folding mechanism is great but we typically recommend the R10 rower for beginners because the resistance isn't very consistent. During the recovery, the belt with go a little bit "limp" and lose resistance, which is a little bit frustrating. But if you're just starting out, that's a great option. If you're experienced and want something that is going to be consistent, go with the Aviron. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks!

You name the assault air rower elite the most comfortable, but never exactly say why it’s better ergonomically than the others. Wider seat? More height? Better foot rests? More stable? What?
@TreadmillReviewGuru Жыл бұрын
Great questions! The AssaultRower Elite has the most comfortable seat (in our opinion) out of all of these rowers. It's taller so it's easier to get on and off of, especially for people who may have joint issues. The handle and footboards are also built and placed appropriately. It is very stable but I wouldn't say it's any more stable than the C2 or the Hydrow. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks!

The reviewers seemed struggle to explain the Waterrower Ergatta features. They seemed to downplay the "resistence" level. The resistence level is the best thing for the water rower or any rower, it's variable and dynamic. The user power level control the resistence level while rowing. The harder you drive, the harder the resistence. If it is too low, water rower has optional accessary to add to raise it. They also have the optional rail extension too. They should have mentioned it. The reviewers are correct about pull handle, smaller hands will have issue because it is not rounded. This is just me, the sound of magnetic is making me feel headache.

I have had some warranty issues with two of my exercise equipments that I purchased less than a year from receiving them. One company has technicians that they utilize to assess and repair. This was great and it was repaired promptly. The other company, expects the owner to disassemble the machine via instructional videos. This has not worked well at all! For me, this will be a critical factor in purchasing any future equipment. This is not usually mentioned in many reviews and I do understand that it may be difficult to obtain. However, it could be very beneficial to equipment owners who are not mechanically inclined. I will never again purchase equipment without this information.
