I love my new row machine! I started putting ankle weights on my wrist and wow that burns! Rowing is the best machine and exercise for me!

I have an RW300, all magnetic resistance and 24 levels of resistance. Love it. No issues in over 2 yrs. I would buy this version in a heartbeat.

The 7 min console section covers iFit mostly. I’m curious about the console itself. Does it come with a remote? Does it allow for internet TV apps to be used? If not, does the unit have HMDI/USB ports allowing that a roku or Amazon fire stick could be installed to allow internet tv? It would be very helpful to see video footage of the back and sides of the console. Many thanks!!

I've heard that the Nordictrack rowers don't offer as much resistance as air/water rowers on the catch (if anyone reading doesn't know what that means, it's when you finish the forward part of the stroke and star hanging back on the oar which is now dipped in the water). Would you say that's true based on your experience, or is it too long ago to remember now? I'd love a Concept2, but I live in a flat with poor sound proofing so I'm kinda obliged to get a quieter rower. I'd rather get a Nordictrack for the noise, *but* if it's true about the lack of resistance on the catch, then I'll get a water rower (... unless you know of a magnetic rower available in the UK around the same price that gives better resistance on the catch?). Sorry I ended up asking a lot there. Thank you for all the helpful videos. Sydney is cute.

Magnetic rowers in general don't offer quite as much resistance as air and water rowers because the resistance has a max level, whereas air and water rowers don't have max resistance levels. If you want something like the Concept2 as far as resistance but quieter, I would check out a water rower like the Ergatta or the WaterRower. Aviron Rowers are also good options. They're hybrid rowers so they use magnetic and air resistance to offer more resistance. It still makes a little bit of noise, but it's much quieter than the C2. Here are our reviews of each of these rowers if you want to check them out. Here's a comparison of the WaterRower to the Concept2 www.treadmillreviewguru.com/waterrower-vs-concept2/ Here's our Ergatta Review www.treadmillreviewguru.com/ergatta-rower-review Here's our Aviron Review www.treadmillreviewguru.com/aviron-strong-series-rower-review/

Brilliant - I will check those out but I already reckon I'll go for a Waterrower as I don't really want the console or classes and I want low noise for the neighbours. Thank you so much for your help! God bless.@@TreadmillReviewGuru

You did not say much about the feel of the stroke. One review noted that the resistance does not get firmer the harder you pull, like an air rower. The hydrow is said to match air rowers in this respect (I have never got to try one). Watching you pull in this video, it looked like most of the resistance was right up front at the beginning, rather than developing as you pull. Can you comment on that?
@TreadmillReviewGuru2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. Yes, it doesn't get firmer the harder you pull like air rowers. The RW900 uses magnetic resistance and there is a bit more resistance at the catch and drive. The belt loses some of the tension in the finish and recovery. The Hydrow's belt maintains more tension throughout the entire stroke compared to the RW900. We recommend the RW900 more for beginners and intermediate rowers because of this. Advanced and stronger rowers probably won't find the resistance enough since there is a max level, too.

I really suggest that, before testing anything, you should LEARN the proper way to use it. Your technique is completely wrong starting with the fact that you should bend the legs ONLY after the handle pass the knees.

The feet on the rower are way too low. Poor design
@TreadmillReviewGuru2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for that insight! We did however appreciate that the resting position of the handle didn't cover the footboards like the previous design.

@@frankhugh2052 Definitely, how quiet it is is one of the best things about it.
