Unbelievable!!! I'm stunned!! The special way the people of Kuşköy communicate is truly mind blowing. I hope it remains to be passed on to future generations. It's truly an evolution worthy of Mr.Attenborough's attention, to share with the world. Thank you.

It's *remarkable* how accommodating Turkish people are! May I film you preparing my food? Sure! Come right into the kitchen! His hands move so fast, too. Obviously he's been making pide for a while! Kuşköy is a fascinating place. I remember hearing about the whistle language on National Geographic years ago. I would be completely lost there -- I've never been able to whistle with fingers my entire life! 😆😆 Amazing! 😎👍🦅👀

I am Turkish American and I took my American friends to Turkey few years ago. We were eating and my friend went to bathroom and did not come back for awhile. I went to check on him. I saw him sitting in the kitchen and having conversation with employees. Funny thing was my friend could not speak Turkish and the employee did not speak English but they were having so much fun. They were showing how they cook Turkish food. My friend just loved every bit of it.

Wow, what a nice and generous man to pay for your pide!! The whistling is just like the Guanche from the Canary Islands. They know now that the Guanche were Berbers (from DNA) - so I wonder if there is some sort of ancient connection to this part of Turkey. Then again, now that you say that they've been doing it there in Turkey since around 1500....well, that's when the Guanche were wiped out by the Spanish. I wonder if any escaped? Or maybe there's no connection, and it's just a coincidence. Nah...I'll bet there's some connection. REALLY interesting. I love Turkey!
