How would that work on extended drive train

Hey did you HAVE to use extended stub axles when using the Treal knuckles. I ordered outer Treal brass covers for my capra lcg build, and was about to order the knuckles too for the front, until I just started watching this video, and now wondering, just by the pictures, it does look like might need to do that, which I don’t want to do.

Imagine this without the cage and everything. Stripped down as possible. Just absolutely bare essentials that the truck requires to run. That would perform crazy well. And be crazy ugly.😂 just a thought

LoL yeah I built Optimus 3 with a Capra Driveline and it’s amazing. The weight of this chassis hurts performance.

Yes same axle portals and ends, they’ll bolt right on.

Except the 10.3 has diff covers. The Capra axles don’t have those.

On the Capra yes, the SCX10III not so much. I tried a set on the SCX10III, pushed the wheel offset out too far for my liking. Yeah, been there.. tear something apart that I assembled....... who the hell put this together, what an idiot...

Have you considered trying it with bigger tires? I have mine on the proline boggers and it just does way better then on a regular size 1.9. Something like the bogger or a jconcepts rupture suit the capra imo

Yes I’ve run this on 2.2 KLR’s. I extended the wheelbase to make them fit right. I have videos on all that if you want to see it.

Yes i saw that video. They are 145mm tall right? I tried my hyrax 2.2 and found that to be too much. But the proline boggers are 1.9 137mm tall and hit the sweetspot imo. And ruptures are about 125mm i think
