I was overwhelmed at first because of their number and I usually don't lean towards the bigger groups but since I am a YG Stan I was curious. Definitely watch Treasure Map.. You will get to know them there and how special they are individually. Or better yet, start from the very beginning and watch treasure box. These boys worked so hard and have been through so much already and now finally their long awaited debut is finally here and I am so proud of them. They are the future of YG so they better manage these amazing group of guys well. YG has struck gold with this group. Each member has something special to bring to the whole line up and YG is really good with that. 💎

It's by R.tee and Choice 37. Choice37 mainly worked with Gdragon & Bigbang. Made a lot of hit songs too... And the rappers in the group writes their own lyrics of course. And YG groups does not do Cute Innocent.. ever.. Lol... BOY is the DEBUT song... Going crazy is just an old 2-3 years old song they did on their survival show.

Their concept is simple. Discovery and making a mark in the world. They want their music to have good influence in people.. called a Treasure Effect. :) 12 members average age is 18. There are 4 Japanese 8 koreans. The guy with low toned rapper is Haruto, the high toned one is Hyunsuk (1 of the 2 leaders). There is another mid-tone rapper named Yoshinori. I hope you can checkout their KZbin channel they covered english songs and they have dance performances that I am sure you'll love!!!

I understand why you felt Teddy on this song but this time he isnt. But some of the producers who worked for the song, worked with Teddy for so long and the signature YG vibe are in their blood now 😅 so thats maybe the reason to it. You can feel a real YGe producer made song when this kind of beats and jive are in it. But you can only notice it if you hear YG songs for so long & you can distinguish the styles of their producers & musicmakers. I see Teddy is the most familiar to you, I couldnt blame you... I love how you acknowledged his songmaking skills. And now it can be felt through the producers who worked with him too. I was really pleasantly surprised by this group! Especially with Going Crazy, that song is incredible imo :) Also, I don’t know if you ever have, but I’d be really interested to see you react to Pentagon (under the same label as (G)-IDLE). They are kings of cute and fun concepts and since you said you normally don’t vibe with it, I thought it’d be interesting to see what you think of them! They’re all 22+ so it’s more mature cute, but still hahaha. They also can act their asses off, have amazing stage presence and have such a diverse discography!! If you react to either Shine, Humph! or Naughty Boy you’ll see the cute fun side, but then compare that to Dr. Bebe or Basquiat (these are both newer releases) and you’ll be left questioning how that is the same group doing those polar opposite concepts! okay well i’m super happy you liked it first off, i’m super invested in this group and have been since there survival show in 2018 (so their debut has been a long time coming lol). first, i know that teddy didn’t work on this at all apparently? i think that boy was produced by r.tee and choice37 so we haven’t gotten a teddy produced track for treasure yet but i wouldn’t be surprised if we did. hopefully with all the talented producing these boys can do, they’ll get some say of their own outside of just lyrics next time. okay so there’s 12 of them (4 japanese and 8 korean), they have 2 leaders, 9 vocalists, and 3 of them are definite rappers and you heard all 3 of them rap in both going crazy and boy. You pointed out Haruto (black hair/jacket) and Hyunsuk (blue hair in boy/flannel) and then you missed Yoshi (silverish hair in boy near the beginning/ grey sweater rapper in second verse of going crazy) you also pointed out Mashiho in going crazy (the jumper) and in boy he’s the singer with blue hair in boy (“you’re so beautiful part” after haruto’s first line). they have a lot of pre-debut content like their show treasure map on youtube and other covers since yg decided to randomly start feeding us again. the oldest member is Hyunsuk (1999) and the youngest is Junghwan (2005) so they’re pretty young and it’s crazy how talented they are. they have amazing vocalists and dancers and ofc rappers lol. you’ll see some of the treasure boys in an episode of stray kids’ survival show when they face off. bang yedam is without a doubt the face of the group just because of how popular he is to begin with. he’s been training in yg for around 7 years and they actually let him release a solo song about a month ago called Wayo and 4 other members + yedam did a live version of it and you should definitely check out both of those too along w other random covers AND A GUIDE!! I love watching guide reactions lol i’m gonna recommend the one by leebeenknew BUT please know that jihoon and hyunsuk are both co-leaders of treasure but this guide was made 3 months ago

Chiiill, my guy. YG is definitely a mess, but I'd never put it on the groups themselves. It's all management. They don't have BP sitting around for a year for the sake of quality, it's for the sake of hype/anticipation and they can show off their streaming numbers. Hell, it works too.

I don't know anything about them either. I did watch the Going Crazy MV only like a week or so ago, and while I wasn't into the song itself, I did take note of their synchronization. As a former dancer, it's something I notice and highly respect in bigger groups (cause that shit is difficult). It's one of the reasons I love Seventeen so much, as they are the absolute kings of synchronization (fight me). But yeah, I was impressed with that given their brand-new rookie status. When I watched Boy the other day, I was also surprised. Wasn't feeling the lyrics, but the performance and song held my interest more than I expected. I've definitely learned to step outside my style box with K-pop, and not judge too quickly on just a couple songs though, so I am interested to see how they progress and grow!
