I’m happy to see you go to a real beach that really kinda gives people like myself to go to the beach more of a realistic view of what people find at the beach . I really like that extra elite I wish I had waited a little bit before I bought my vanquish . I would definitely got the elite instead already have the Pro but elite is Best of both the vanquish and the pro in one. Anyway great video thanks for sharing .

We just got an X-Terra Elite. Do you switch from beach 1 to beach 2 when you go from dry sand to water or do you just leave it on one setting the whole time?

It suggests switching to beach 2 but some days I leave it in beach 1 if I'm not getting any interference. 👍

All great options, I think at that point it's kind of preference and budget based. Go with what your heart desires! I know it's a hard choice... but there is no wrong choice. :)

Make sure it's in beach mode, higher recovery speed helped me but might hurt depth a little bit. Just tweak it best you can, maybe a ground balance or slightly lower sensitivity. 👍

I watched AquaChigger still do. I met him once at Garrett hunt. I met Jocelyn Elizabeth there also. Al that being said I bought a Garrett AT Pro. That is the detector I have used for all these years and have been happy with it. I have used it on the beach. Salt water and dry sand and have found a lot of good targets. It’s not up with the new machines but I have been happy with it. Well I will leave it at that. More words than I’ve spoken in fifty years 27:54

I tried out the deus one on a fresh water beach, i had a horrible time, especially in the wet sound incouldnt get it ground balanced and it kept screaming on black sand, i should have borrowed my moms vanquish instead, as my legend is in the shop for a blown speaker

My ORX is a little tough to tune in on the salt too, I like the Vanquish for that reason it usually works turn on and go!
