Hello, thanks for posting cool videos about rocks in MT. I just subscribed, and I would like to see a video about your lapidary equipment, rock saws and polishers. I collect agate, corundum, gold, opal, petrified wood, and bones. All can be found on the yellowstone, more frequent east of glendive. I haven’t bought any saws. Just a couple tumblers vibratory and rotary.
@KatyDidRocks4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for the sub! I have a couple saws, a rotary tumbler and two wheels of a rock polisher. I will do a video soon after I get a little more practiced and at least LOOK like I know what I’m doing! 😂

Katy! Do you have any recommendations for how many inches on the blade with a slab saw? I'd like to get one but I am not sure about how large....
@KatyDidRocks4 жыл бұрын
Hey there! I responded to this, but it didn't go through, apparently. I have an 18" slab saw that my dad built from a kit. I'd say buy as big as you can afford, as the blade size limits how big a rock you can cut.
@MontanaRockMom4 жыл бұрын
@@KatyDidRocks Katy, does the 18 inch blade mean you can cut 18 inch rocks?
