Nice to see love for this forgotten game! A remake would be awesome (though I feel like Chrono Trigger or Bahamut Lagoon might be safer choices for Square) Regarding the translation patch, are you referring to the complete patch with the reworked mantra/kotodama system or the precarious one with big characters and hyphens in mantras? (Akin to how Live A Live had two translation patches, the cool one with a font for each chapter and the mediocre one with badly trimmed text)

How was this Remastered? Like what has been done to the audio? Maybe it's just me but I can't hear what the difference is.

This one was pretty subtle but usually I am either optimizing to make it sound loud and bass pop out on iPhones/weak earbuds or alternatively just using more subtle techniques like tone shaping and EQ while upsampling and running things back through modern plugins - it is usually the easiest to tell a difference by just making it sound louder but I have seen that not all people like that...another way is to add effects like reverb or stereo widening but not all people like that either, so it is kind of tricky. The one thing I can say is that things I did even 3 months ago sound completely different than today - learning new things almost every week

Great soundtrack! Tried to play the game but the story needed a lot of work, it was really just a random series of events, and the characters weren't fleshed out. Still very interesting though.

Soken sucks. This OST rocks.

Why can both not be great?? Soken has made incredible pieces. It's not like soken is getting successful in spite of the guy who made this ost. What a weird mindset.

Soken is amazing. This soundtrack is also amazing. I know it seems hard for people with your mindset, but you don't have to insult somebody's work to praise another's.
