FYI when I was teaching preschool and didn't have a laminator, I found that I could buy laminator sheets and use an iron (between newspaper to protect the iron) to seal them.

Just wanted to add the author tells constantly in each video she reuses stuff from thrift stores etc: paper, threads, beads, charms you name it not to pries herself, but to help to save the cost, to save the planet… The mane purpose of lamination is a longevity! Longevity of her creations for many years and even decades to come! 😊😊😊

It continuously dismays me how people cannot seem to express themselves without resorting to insults or as you said ‘being nasty’. Everyone should be able to get their point across in a constructive manner even if their opinion is to disagree with something. I think you are very intelligent and humble enough to address their point even though you also have the right to make your own choices and not to defend your decisions. I hope the person that wrote that comment learns the difference between being assertive and being rude. Rude simply demonstrates their lack of intelligence to express themselves in a logical and affirmative fashion and less likely to receive the respect you still demonstrated in addressing their complaint. Bravo Natasha 👏👏 You indeed have my respect. 💖

Once you’ve made yours, you can always keep creating and donate your work to the local women’s shelter or rehab facility. I have both of these in my community and they appreciate little tokens of kindness all thru the year. Not everyone can use them, not everyone appreciates them but if only one person picks up the finished product, opens the pages and begins to write, doodle or draw then you will have accomplished more than you will ever know. In fact, one rehab facility I donated to long ago, started their own weekly paper crafting time and started to recreate the small journals to sell in their shop.

Don't know about anyone else, but the "new biodegradable plastic" is a bigger headache as far as I'm concerned. Certain nasty liquids, like chlorine bleach, are sitting in a plastic container in my laundry and I'm a little concerned that someone who thinks they know more about my usage of said liquid than me has decided when the bottle will disintegrate.

I watch a lot of art & craft videos, and you are without a doubt the absolute best tutor of all of them. You make everything so crystal clear and easy to follow - and the added bonus being that everything you do make is beautiful! My intention for 2022 is to a) do more gel printing and b) make more books. I want to use my gel prints to make the covers (and some inserts) so I won’t be needing a laminator. My biggest dilemma in making little booklets is closure - what to use. I will be searching your videos for tips of course, but if you haven’t already, would you consider a video just on the different ways to close books? Thanks again, you are much appreciated! Happy New Year to you & yours. 🧡

I love this quick gift idea! You have thought out everything and done so with great care for the recipient. I just love how your creative spirit flows 😊 I wanted to say, also, that nothing you do, show or use should be met with nastiness and I am so sorry you have to deal with it. I wish people took a little extra time to read (aloud works best) what they write, before posting publicly. I like how you have dealt with them in this video. You absolutely let the person know their comment was hurtful, and at the same time, let them know the reason you use the product and in a respectful manner. You keep being the creative person that you are; the majority of your fans understand that your videos are about using what you already have, by repurposing/recycling/re-envisioning. Your fans love your work! tfs 😊

Good ideas to use whole sheets - I would add a paperclip inside the two triangles to grip the pages better. Thanks for sharing.

Thank-you Natasha, a quick idea for you is to mark and measure on the back side of your paper then you don’t have to erase.
