That is actually a must if the human race is to continue, and it's why we need Musk doing what he's doing. I only wish all these big players would work together, hell, we'd be all setup on Mars or at the least, the moon by now if they did.

Funny enough, today in 2024, solar power is the very cheapest LCOE power source. The global weighted average LCOE for PV is now 29% lower than the cheapest fossil fuel alternative. ^^

Useless in many regions. Nuclear is the only option if you're so worried about "fossil fuel".
