I wonder how many times a $100 bill with errors like these were mistaken as counterfeit and the person who used it was arrested? I mean bc if you go to a store or a casino or anywhere that looks closely at large bills would see a bill without a federal or treasury seal they gonna automatically think it’s counterfeit and call the police.

I just found a new $100 bill where the green federal reserve emblem looks like it’s been double printed. I first took notice because the green coloring was very green compared to the other bills I was counting. Is it worth anything? And how would I go about selling it if it is? Thanks for any info.

@@eduardomedina4328 yes. Very bold and it is certain that it’s doubling, you don’t need a loupe to see it. I’ve searched through hundreds of thousands and have yet to find another. So it has to be worth something other than face. The bill was in a pile of about 3 or 4 successive serial numbers and it was the only one doubled. It’s in the best shape, still with the sheen layering and very centered obv/reverse so I think it will get a high grade. I’m in talks with a coin shop to have it sent out with their next batch to PMG.

Found a $100 Series 2013 with a blue S printed on the reverse just under that part of the Hall on the extreme right. The bill is genuine and that letter does not appear to be a bank stamp. (??)

Beware of cutting errors. Have them properly checked and graded. With the ability to buy uncut sheets a devious person could "make" a cutting error.
