Hello Dr. Parker. Great work! I have severe keratoconus. Most doctors use femto laser for the tunnel. Why you use the knife? Is this better or does it have disadvantages compared to laser? I heared of keranatural ringsegments. What is better?

Comparing this to Corneal cross linking. What’s the diff?

Completely different uses. Cross linking is used to stop progression. CAIRS is a way to hopefully improve vision.
