I think the question I have most about Korea is how open they are about relationships and PDA seeing as how skinship amongst same sex idols are a common thing. Hope your trip is going well!

ElleAlly I am not Joan, but I can answer this more less. In Korea the relationship matter is really important. You see couples everywhere. They celebrate, wear matching clothes, go together everywhere. However with skinship it's different. They are not that familiar with PDA. Same sex - fine, girl friends holding hands, guy friends sitting on each other's laps - that's all OK. But if you two are the opposite sex, then people react harsher. Some people I talked to didn't even kiss or hug each other while out in public, only held hands. So with PDA in Korea you have to be really careful or you might get stares or even some unpleasant comments.

as long as you are a foreigner nobody cares :) The rules are only for koreans and they are especially strict towards girls. I mean I love my boyfriend but I dont have to kiss im on the streets etc. I respect their culture and adapt to it. Easy as that.

I'm not sure if you are Caucasian but maybe because I'm Asian, it might not be seen that I'm a foreigner. I am not talking about deep kissing etc, more like just simple stuff like patting on the head, hugging and stuff like that. I mean in K-drama, it seems almost normal to be affectionate so I just wonder how is it really like on a day to day basis.

WATCH RED VELVET'S ROOKIE I've been living in Korea for over two years and the air pollution is awful during summer, but I think koreans overreact about it cuz I haven't feel weak or weird while I'm outside and the air pollution is high, but I do have feel stressed for how hot and humid the weather is. During fall there are some days with low air pollution but the sky starts getting cleaner. Winter is almost the same but the climate isn't clean because of the clouds and winter snow. Spring here is stunning, the sky is so clean and weather is just on point. For Americans or Europeans maybe the korean air pollution might bother you a little bit at first but you get used to it. In the other hand, talking about China... I did feel dirty on my stay there. You feel like your pores can't breath and the smell... is weird. But there are good and bad days Sorry if there are any mistakes, I'm not a english native speaker, but hope it could help you.
