Hi Chako, “Chako in a sweets paradise” would be a new metaphor replacing “a kid in a candy store.” It made me happy just to see the twinkle in your eye as you explore the buffet table. You definitely look more excited than the boys. Hope nobody had a tummy ache later. At any rate, thank you for sharing the good times that you all had as a family. Belated happy birthday to Leo, Shin from Colorado

Thanks! I was (self-admittedly) the very definition of a kid in a candy shop!
All those cakes look delightful! I wouldn’t know where to even begin to choose! 😍

It is stupendous to treat the brothers to a cake buffet as a reward, Miss Charlotte. Melon soda with ice cream, it is fabulous to create one by ourselves. And wow! Lots of cakes to choose, I would have it for either lunch or tea break.
You all looked so excited. I agree, Japanese sweets are so good! Although they make nothing dairy free, so I made an exception while in Japan, took a pill, and split モンブランwith my mom. It was delightful.

Yes, it can be hard to find dairy free options here unfortunately- but I will be featuring a vegan cake shop which just opened up recently in Nara, which is dairy free but very delightful!

The eldest one looks like mom, the middle one is just his dad's childhood image and the youngest one is a mix of both. All three of them are very good looking ❤

It seems to me that Chako-chan was enjoying the most at the restaurant. You may know this but everything in the US became so expensive during and after COVID19. You cannot eat such high quality foods at that price here. I’am jealous.

Prices for basic groceries have gone up here in Japan too, but maybe not quite as high as in America…

Hi Chako!! 12:29 I see a Gundam Aerial and RX-78-2 there, is that Leo's work ??????
I've never heard "sweets paradise". So I told my wife this great all-you-can-eat restaurant. I wanna go this year. And I wanna ask you a question. What sweets was the best for you at the restaurant?
@Chakochan-MylifeinJapan Жыл бұрын
Yes, I recommend going and it would be a great place to take your wife on a date! I realized I forgot to say which was my favorite cake- it was the brûlée chiffon cake- the burnt sugar on top was a perfect match for the light fluffy cake! The orange cream cake was a second best. Towards the end of the video you can see my favorite choices because I went back and got seconds!

@@Chakochan-MylifeinJapan Thank you for your answering!! I taught your answer to my wife and daughter. And then, they asked me to go there with them. I will lead them to go on a date there within a few months.
