I was also diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea, and someone suggested trying taping my mouth, and voilà! Now I sleep! Before I guess I was mouth breathing all night and so that’s when my airway would get blocked and I would wake up with such a dry mouth and like every hour throughout the night so I woke up so exhausted, so that’s better now, but I also have TMD so the “mad” (mandibular advancement device) is not gonna work for me that will mess with my Tmj too much… thank goodness for the tape, yes I do it vertically from under my nose down to my chin and I use the micropore breathable medical tape. I’ve been using it for several months with good results. I’m also about 20 pounds overweight and I still snore pretty loud, but my apnea is now considered mild according to the app on my phone. And I do feel rested when I wake up. Good luck everyone!
