@ACAFWD @CAMPING @FOURWHEELDRIVE
Headed out to the Springs 4x4 park with Kylie from Drifta Stockton to check out the TRED 4x4 Breast Cancer Fundraising event and what happens here. Very large crowd of people and lots of different off road activities being undertaken.
Totally different to the type of thing I am usually involved with. The Springs is a well known 4x4 park. We actually did some of our 4wd training out here around 8 years ago. Beer o'clock Hill is something that is well known. Check it out on KZbin.
If you are coming to the event, my suggestion is to camp in something that does not use a lot of space and that is "off road" compatible. It is Highly recommended to come in a 4wd as even thr path into the park may require a 4wd if you are towing.
A lot of people just using swags out there. Be prepared for dust if it is dry and mud if it is raining!
The event went very smoothly. Best off to share the experience with friends. Bring a hat and sunscreen and most importantly... bring a beer to sit back and watch and a 4WD (no drinking!!) if you want to participate!!
