HI Sharon, I have been watching your channel for a few yrs now, and 3 days ago began my first 'tree' from a juice carton. As I love everything Beatrix Potter, my tree is Peter Rabbits home with his mama and siblings. I have the tree completed to the stage of adding accessories outside and around the ground area. As the carton is small I have only put a thin layer of wall paper inside and made a door to be slightly open. I made mama rabbit, Peter and his siblings out of clay and will paint them when dried. I am 66 and for years have been working on making doll miniatures for my doll houses and cloth dolls which I enjoy, this new adventure is just as rewarding, and I look forward to making a larger tree soon. Thank you so much for the extensive effort you put forth in sharing all you do. So true that we each are different and will come up with ideas as we work on the trees, it is amazing how many ideas the brain can think of. ") yet your videos lend a great deal to that, your work is wonderful and inspiring. Blessings. In Joy

Oh I love Peter Rabbit, and her tree made me think of the rabbit family living under the root system. But what about the above ground parts of the tree? I might make a Winnie the Pooh theme, owl's house, the other rabbits house where pooh gets stuck in the window, Eeyore's home, so much fun just to think about. Seems you kind of need to be living in a place where you plan to never move from.

With a cat that "chews", I'd suggest using cat-safe materials such as Elmer's glue and using food coloring instead of paint.

Just discovered your channel late last night (well really early morning, since it was 1am) while crafting a "stone" floor out of egg cartons for the miniature dollhouse kit I'm working on. Yay a fellow Canadian 😊 Anyway, I've been binge watching your videos and I don't usually hit the like button but I have been for every one I've watched. Thank you sooooo much for taking the time to record and post. I agree, my creativity skyrockets after my toddler and husband are fast asleep and I'm locked away in my craft room usually until 1am-3am with one of my cats fast asleep on the daybed, I'm really tired when I get up but it's so worth it; the uninterrupted hours I get are priceless.

Thank you so much for all your advice, patience & commitment!! Just found your channel and subscribed! I have loved (LOVED!) & been fascinated by dollhouses ever since I was about 5 yrs old when my parents took me to a museum. They had a traveling exhibit of incredibly detailed, grandiose & very expensive dollhouses from around the world. I could have stayed there, absorbed into those tiny rooms & lives forever!! Yep, I was hooked!! Currently I am working on a Harry Potter themed castle for my grown daughter using (mostly) recycled supplies. It is very messy, fairly difficult & lotsl of FUN!! It also helps me keep my mind off my severe chronic pain issues (thank God). I am so looking forward to catching up on all your old videos & learning as I go! A place to fish is super cute. I dried gourds, then cut them in half, cleaned them, then clear coated. Finally created multi tiered waterfalls dropping from one to the next on the side of the cottage to the bottom of a small pool of water. I used gourds of course because the house is fantasy made with natural resources.

Hi love the videos im bunge watching today. Started a character last night trying to figure out a good size. Anyway when showing my hubby he said wow. I wonder if you could build that to be a cat condo type of structure for our cats. So it got me thinking maybe it actually could hold the weight of a cat if carefully planned out. So let me knownwhat you think about the over all strength. Obviously it wont need windows and door and furnishings butmaybe just platforms
@WhereTheGnomesLive4 жыл бұрын
My cats jump in my tree all the time, lol it holds them just fine. This tree has stacked boxes and it's really solid but for any areas or platforms you think need extra strength you could always add another layer of cardboard in between the boxes, use tacky glue and masking tape to attach the layers. Once you add your layer of carpet, or whatever you'll use to make it comfy and look nice, it'll be super strong for the cats. They will love it, have fun!!
