Long live the bank barn!! Cool video. Thanks for sharing. What a beautiful picture of the fog rolling off the lake and the rays of the sun thru the branches of the trees. A few of my favorite things

I agree on the massive chipper. Boy, that thing was hungry. Those tree sections were huge!

You should be really thankful for an outfit that knew what they were doing and was able to take care of a big job like that

Big job done. At least your shed is safe now.
@stephaniewilson3955 Жыл бұрын
That is a lot of serious equipment. I am sure it cost you a lot to have them in but it is so much safer than you trying to handle such a specialised job yourself and those wood chips are the bonus.

Those woodchips make excellent bedding for your livestock!

I have never seen tree come down like that. Talk about time saver. Now you have to clean up the front of the barn...cool video!

Till some of the wood chips into the bare spot in back yard to increase biomass. It will help over time to enrich the soil.

You can put some in the pig pen and it will help with the smell

Fascinating and scary. No wonder tree removal services are expensive: that's a dangerous job. Hope the barn lasts for many, many years. TFS. (:

Just curious as why not just have them blow them into a pile next to the barn instead of on the lawn you're trying to establish ? And I get that it's closer to the garden so...? Always a thumbs up and a great video !

Can you actually swim in that pond ? it might be just fine I think... also I think if that trunk is healthy you can get it cut into boards and use them for woodworking like Matthew Cremona on YT does.

such a shame to destroy a lovely old tree. you could have trimmed it back instead of killing it.
@grjoe44123 жыл бұрын
It's near the end of its life. Most trees show aging at 70 to 80 years. They don't last forever.
