I have a version of the beer chiller that my wife gave me a few years ago. I've used them occasionally when hosting my kid's birthday parties during the summer. I'll grab a beer out of the refrigerator and put one in. It actually keeps the beer cold. The key is to take a sip first to allow room for the chiller then slowly place it in the bottle until it seals at the top.

I've used the draft top to make Beer CANdles with some of my favorite beer cans. I didn't trust it enough to drink from the can.

The ultrasonic foamer might be useful for homebrewers doing traditional bottling from primary. Usually a little CO2 is still in solution, you can put filled bottle on sonic thing, foam it up, cap on foam.
@MatiasSund9 ай бұрын
I was thinking it could be really good for PR and marketing departments at breweries. You can quite easily get exactly the level of foam you want for your social media pictures.

The draft top tool was cool. If you have to drink from a can at least that allows you to be able to still get your nose inside the can for aroma.
@ScottDodier9 ай бұрын
Great review! I frequentely use the Draft Top outside in the summer but the can then goes into a BruMate or Yeti Colster style can koozie which keeps it cold and provides some structural integrity. It makes for a unique drinking experience that simulates using a glass but without needing to bring one along or worrying about breakage. Give it a try!

@frederickheard20226 ай бұрын
Does the Draft Top leave you with a floppy can? I imagine it might be easy to apply a little pressure after you’ve cut out the top and crush the beer out of your can. What can you tell us about structural integrity?
@ericm12866 ай бұрын
@@frederickheard2022 In my experience, the cans maintain integrity but I have only tried with pint cans. It keeps the rim at the top in place and essentially removes the very top. Hopefully that makes sense.

That sonic foamer thing looks similar to something Guinness do with some bars that sell cans of Guinness. They have an agitator thing they put the glass on that helps cause that characteristic Guinness nitro cascade look like a traditional draught tap gets.

I've done this with a regular can opener. Pop the can with the tab and then open. The tab gives you something to grab so the lid doesn't fall in and releases the gas so it doesn't pop when you start opening with the can opener. Works great to add some lime to a Modelo 😄
@kaiser_sose9 ай бұрын
lol! I got one of these in a prize bag. Same thing, top drops into the beer. * I just gave it another try on a Bootstrap Brewing Lush Puppy. First time the lid didn't come loose at all. I ended up having to squeeze it so hard the can started to twist. And even then, I only got about 3/4 of the lid loose.
