As a foreign student who studied and got to live in china for 5 years during college, i can attest to this, chineese are really caring nice people. Heck i was an Indian and i remember i was once too depressed and was walking along , standing teary eyed and stopped at a small shop to eat. While drinking some soup ,all i could do was cry. And when I was done i got up to leave, the store owner didn't accept the money and even said don't worry it will be alright and gave me a snack to have on the way as well. People care and I'm happy the world has such wonderful people.

"Serve the people" is actually a slogan of Chinese people's Liberation Army which starts from the war times back in the 1940s. As younger generation born and raise in China, I find it a bit awkward to say or hear this nowadays. But it is truly surprising for me that this slogan has such a huge impact on people from that period of time (like my grandpa). You can tell they believe in it from the bottom of the heart.

The girl who supposedly broke her ankles, that same scenario happened to me 11 years ago. I was on my way too for a job interview but I broke my foot when I stepped down from a high pavement wearing heels. I even heard the loud crack of bones breaking and my vision blurred as I hop on to cross the street. Luckily the lights are still red and I was able to reach the other side of the road before the it turned green. I collapsed on the other side from pain, and two women on their way to work stopped and went over to me. One of them stopped a guy and borrowed a phone to call my mom. While the other took the liberty on accompanying me to the hospital while we waited for my mom to get there. Good people are still everywhere. ......

I have been to China for a few years. That's how they are. The education of the whole country, their sense of collectivism, they call each other uncle, aunt, brother, sister, call the country mother! I was shocked

Growing up in Malaysian, literally everyone was aunt so and so or uncle so and so. On moving to the UK it was a shock and felt so disrespectful at first to call people by their first name without an honorific. And now I sometimes have the opposite problem because when I go back home I sometimes slip and forget the honorific!

Chinese are some of the most caring in all of Asia. In Korea and Japan, you'll find nice people like this, but it will take a few more tries. They're nice there too, but trained more to keep to themselves and not interfere with others.

@-rainydays aww i can feel you, my grandfather was just like him(the guy in the video (talking about the shaky hands, tho my grandfather did look alot like him). He wasnt able to feed himself as he was in his 70 and was going through lots of health issues. On his last few weeks i stayed with him and took care off him. I would always talk to him about things and ask about how his life was in his old days and making him do a few things, he said, "you make me feel im not old, but suddenly young." He left giving me many prayers. Shaky hands are usually expected as people grow older! I hope your father finds his way through this and live a long healthy life with you and his loved ones! Keep helping other and your loved ones!! I hope for best :)

My mother always pulls me away if we see someone who for example shakes a lot. She says they are just some old crazy people that can't take care of themselves and are dirty and unhygienic. She often looks down on them. I don't want to end up like her. My brother is exactly the same though. I'm glad to see that there are not only people like her. Every person deserves the assistance and accessibility that they need
