As a foreign student who studied and got to live in china for 5 years during college, i can attest to this, chineese are really caring nice people. Heck i was an Indian and i remember i was once too depressed and was walking along , standing teary eyed and stopped at a small shop to eat. While drinking some soup ,all i could do was cry. And when I was done i got up to leave, the store owner didn't accept the money and even said don't worry it will be alright and gave me a snack to have on the way as well. People care and I'm happy the world has such wonderful people.

"Serve the people" is actually a slogan of Chinese people's Liberation Army which starts from the war times back in the 1940s. As younger generation born and raise in China, I find it a bit awkward to say or hear this nowadays. The girl who supposedly broke her ankles, that same scenario happened to me 11 years ago. I was on my way too for a job interview but I broke my foot when I stepped down from a high pavement wearing heels. I even heard the loud crack of bones breaking and my vision blurred as I hop on to cross the street. Luckily the lights are still red and I was able to reach the other side of the road before the it turned green. I collapsed on the other side from pain, and two women on their way to work stopped and went over to me. One of them stopped a guy and borrowed a phone to call my mom. While the other took the liberty on accompanying me to the hospital while we waited for my mom to get there. Good people are still everywhere. ......
