Trees being blown down in the wind

Huge cedar trees being blown down in high winds. Hear the wind blowing and the trees cracking.

Hello, who does not know these trees, they are -Thuja Plicata gigantea exelsa pendula. And I know for a fact that they come from Canada. And when they grow very well from their youth, somewhere in open spacious and very windy landscapes, they are among the very very resistant trees in the windy areas !! I come from Central Europe from the Czech Republic, where it also blows a lot and sometimes we plant them like a windbreak, or as a solitaire, preferably in deep sandy-clay soils to take root there. But if these trees, they often grow in a canopy, they do not like it very much, because they are limited by more massive growth and this leads to these possible problems that they sometimes fall out or break down, even if they have quite good regeneration, they can well after breaking to grow or regenerate. And so they can continue to operate for adverse climates. And they still handle snow loads quite well, from short and well, this type of tree has its very good quality.

Yes they clear cut the five acres to the south of us which is the direction most storms come from. Now these trees which were topped about 40 years ago are exposed to side winds and some of the tops got blown out. We had thirteen big cedar trees and ended up taking down five the neighbor took down eight. I had a portable mill come and we made 12" bevelled wide 1 1/2" buttend bevelled cedar siding to match the orginal house. I will post a picture of the finished building.

I would cut down trees to make firewood trees are dangerous surrounded around houses especially when its windy days? Owners don't want to spend the money to have a tree company and make your property safe and worry free stop being cheapskates.
