Light Blistering, so bright Re-align my core Lenses open wide Coming into form The imprint of a life Too late you’re calling out my name To raise me up out of my grave Alive in memory I’ll stay If you shun these waters where I lay Night Curtains coming down Into the shade I stray Losing all I’ve found To my own dismay My season has come to an end Too late you’re calling out my name To raise me up out of my grave Alive in memory I’ll stay If you shun these waters where I lay Leave me to rest To drained to rise To try to detect Any light at the end of the tunnel…

Didn't know her but she has made an impression on my life. Got a CD after a Slipknot concert, Swallow the Sun with Aleah was on it. What a mind warp and then she was just gone. I live for her, I hear her passion for life in her voice. She has reminded me of how lucky we are all just to be alive. RIP my sister.

I first heard these last week - I immediately wanted to contact my music loving 20 yr old daughter or 28 yr old son to accompany me when Trees play in my country. I was ready and waiting to worship these people. Since first hearing Focus Hawkwind Genesis as a 9 yr old in 1973 I’d turned my back on Slade & Mud and knew that Interesting and Ethereal Music was for me forever. My heart truly goes to all connected with them or mere lovers of their work . Love from Wessex 🏴😇❤️😔

A dear friend of mine just lost their SO in very similar circumstances - and gone too soon. My heart really hurts for the both of them, but this song really helps me cope. Thank you so much Aleah and the band. Given that we’re profoundly emotional beings in what can seem like a very brutal and unfair universe, it’s points of view and words such as these that really help coming to terms with loss.

I am a fan of Heike Langhans, one day while browsing on Spotify, I discovered the song My Requim. After listening to it for days, I learned that it was Aleah's song. Later, the Hallatar band was formed in her memory and I witnessed Heike Langhans accompanying the song My Mistake. I really didn't know what to say. I looked at the empty wall. Rest in peace, Aleah.

I was asleep while listening to Light field reverie, and when this song was on from suggestions i woke up and listened to the end of it amidst my sleep, cant believe what i have missed in those years, theres so much emotion in her voice , the way of singing and the exact lyrics of what happened after, all once in this bloody night .. RIP 🖤

Trees of Eternity is what Evanescence should have been...
@Crandaddy819 жыл бұрын
Dani Seguel Evanescence's very early stuff (pre-Fallen) sounds, to my ear, a lot like a less developed, less mature-sounding Trees of Eternity. Go listen to Evanescence's 1998 self-titled EP, and tell me if you don't agree.
