Didn't know her but she has made an impression on my life. Got a CD after a Slipknot concert, Swallow the Sun with Aleah was on it. What a mind warp and then she was just gone. I first heard these last week - I immediately wanted to contact my music loving 20 yr old daughter or 28 yr old son to accompany me when Trees play in my country. I was ready and waiting to worship these people. Since first hearing Focus Hawkwind Genesis as a 9 yr old in 1973 I’d turned my back on Slade & Mud and knew that Interesting and Ethereal Music was for me forever. I am a fan of Heike Langhans, one day while browsing on Spotify, I discovered the song My Requim. After listening to it for days, I learned that it was Aleah's song. Later, the Hallatar band was formed in her memory and I witnessed Heike Langhans accompanying the song My Mistake. I really didn't know what to say. I looked at the empty wall. Rest in peace, Aleah.

I rarely ever pay attention to lyrics, always preferring the tone of the voice and the instruments but this song is an exception. Heartbreaking but at the same time uplifting. Kudos to singer and to the guitarist for his sympathetic guitar work. Aleah RIP.
