Eastern white pine is one of my favourite trees. Very peaceful majestic tree. I’ve planted three of them around my home, really enjoying watching them grow every year

I have one in my backyard. It was originally a Christmas tree for the church but they didn't know what to do with it and no one else wanted it. So I took it. It's such a beautiful shape and when we get a nice snow in the winter, it looks like a Christmas tree again 🥰

when the US was still colonies of the UK, they would put marks on the tallest white pines that said they were property of the King, since they were excellent for Ship masts they were tall and straight

Does the white pine stop producing cones when old?

Of course not! I've seen white pines 15 to 150 ft tall with pine cones!
