I think it’s cool you’ve made another treflip video, ultimately there’s a lot of nuances and complex motion that’s hard to pick up on. Rly is hard to explain in just one video

Im glad you made another tre flip video. It's better to cover everything, especially weight distribution. I watched a lot of trick videos before finding your channel, and none explained that at all. Your explanations of weight distribution is one of the main reasons this is my favorite skate channel. That's the subject most important to me. Thanks for uploading. Unfortunately I can't skate right now...snow is on the ground.🙄

Thanks for your in deep explanation. I agree but never had the words to explain it with such clarity.

You shouldn't have to jump 2 feet to the side just to land your Tre flips, you should be able to keep it completely under you and land exactly where you popped. But I suppose that's the beauty of skateboarding, everyone does it differently.

I think you just have to get really comfortable with them first

1:59 is super important and lol the DBZ analogy was golden. you need to lean in the direction youre going to land.

Woah this breakdown is nuts man! You are satisfying that itch in us that want a physics based breakdown of skateboarding; and it's excellent.

Watching your first video about this trick got me into learning it, it's really amazing because those last day I was reasoning a lot on exactly what you describe in great details here... this is so helpful, I'm glad you did that last video on the trick. Now I feel like I finally understand "why the trick", great job.

I just gave a try to the simulation on your website: Great stuff thanks! It's really useful to be able to look at different angle, in some situation I feel like it would be nice if we could turn off the "ground grid" (I'v seen how we can add the other grid for X/Y axis but not how to disable this one). Thanks again for your work.

Thanks a lot for testing out my website. The ground was sometimes really…dizzy, wasn’t it? I just installed a new feature that allows you to toggle move/stop ground. Thanks for the feedback!!

@@whythetrick yup exactly! It is super useful thought when observing what you describe in this video, but when looking at other details in can feel dizy indeed :-) I just tried and it and it works like a charm, thank you for the quick update!

Hey everyone, I'm having a hardtime doing a treflip then, and now after getting a shaped deck it was really easy after it, I can scoop my treflip effortless and land it while static. My board is short tail and nose deep concave and 31 inch length
@vancouverbill10 ай бұрын
How long wheel base? Is it shorter than average? Thanks
@mylast94910 ай бұрын
@@vancouverbill just an inch, i didn't sure because it was long time ago. Currently, I skate an average deck length and take much effort to scoop. And the other reason I can treflip is because my truck is so loose

I love hauling ass and throwing Tre flips out. For me, they’re easy to do going quickly and they turn out better
@user-js9in4lr3e Жыл бұрын
Idk man, for me, getting them moving is such a hassle. Altogether, I'm at least 9 hours into landing one going forward, and I can stick it occasionally, but no ride aways. I can land them fakie sometimes. But so far, the only real luck is with stationary =(
@whythetrick Жыл бұрын
What happens when you try while moving? Under rotation?
@user-js9in4lr3e Жыл бұрын
@@whythetrick yep. The kickflip part is fine, but the 360 shuv comes a little short. I can either spin it fine and rotate frontside (not land it) or stick it but it doesn't flip right.
