Hello from Oregon, USA -- Thanks for this very well-produced video short. For 2 1/2 years in the mid-1970s, I lived and worked near Luwang village in the Mardi river watershed about 7 hours NW of Pokhara. At the time, Pokhara was still a small town of just 26,000 people and the region completely roadless. During my stay in this area, I roamed far and wide in the Annapurnas, including trips to the Annapurna Sanctuary and Mardi Himal base camp with local Gurung shepherds.
