"trust me" in Nepal if you are at the Himalayan area you will always find a company(dog) if you are travelling alone. they will guide you to the next village and come back. at least say goodbye and thank you for them.

As a person who has completed Annapurna Circuit trek, Mardi trek, EBC trek and many others, I can say that mountain dogs are absolute life savers in the treks. Especially if you are trekking alone, mountain dogs will help you navigate from one village to another. If you're trekking with such dogs, please order some extra rice and chicken for them too.

I had to follow you on this trek Kraig. A high school man teacher climbed with a friend in the fall of 1980 - no doubt on a different route on the snowy rugged mountain side as it was getting dark, and fell to his death. That man left a deep positive memory and impression on hundreds of kids, and his memory is still precious to me. Thanks for showing me the mountains he was climbing.

This was my first ever major trek and my only one so far. Went in miserably under-prepared and struggled for the most part. But, when you reach the summit and take in the views of the Annapurna range and the Machapuchare, the views were spectacular and something that'll stay with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for bringing back those memories.

00:37 - perfect example of a shot that has it all. Nature, unchanged, and a skilled visionary who knows how to capture its epic-ness. You need both for an inherently amazing shot! World class cinematography. Thank you for the great content sir.

I've gotta say Kraig , I love what you do. I'm a big backpacker and I'm getting into hunting so obliviously on my days off I'm out on the trail but your videos are so helpful to get me thru my workdays. Beautifully shot, insane trails , and fairly often content . Definitely gonna join the $2 a month thing cuz why the hell not, especially if it helps you keep doing what you do . Keep up the good work!!

I LOVE these no-talking videos. I love just seeing what you see like I’m walking with you. I swore off hiking videos for a while because they just felt like gear reviews or really arrogant “this is the only way to hike” type things. Thanks for making content like this 🥰
