Brings back memories from Oct 2018, when we combined Kedarkantha and Phullara ridge treks, with a slight deviation towards the end, getting down at Dhatmir, instead of Taluka, and returning to Taluka on the trail connecting Seema to Taluka..... a good trail, which was devoid of trekkers beyond Kedarkantha

Hey Siddharth, sadly I forgot to record the route map, even though I wanted to.. You need to take a guide with you.. they don’t allow otherwise.. you will get one in Sankri village..!

@@rohaankatwe I have a dedicated GPS unit, and am also very experienced with map and compass skills. Also have multiple years' worth of trekking experience . But would the forest authorities still not allow me entry without hiring a guide, which I dont need ?

They probably will not. They're just trying to create some employment and stop having cases of missing people. Or maybe there will be some procedure. You can try to persuade the authorities in advance and see if that works..
